Tsunami Roll
inspired mostly by food and mahjong this is basically a 3d doodle went color-kaplooee 3dsmax and vray, only about 16-18mins rendertime for each 2000x1500px master image (total of 9) photoshop for minor softlight, color tweak, and crop-resize jpeg compression kinda ruined the soft gradients so PNG lossless to the rescue! but the drawback is: 18jpegs=4mb+, 18pngs=22mb+ so I divided it into 2 subs, one for 4:3 and the other for widescreen I assume if you have widescreen, you won't use 4:3 walls and vice versa, and it'll be so much less pain for the dial-up users to download Widescreen Version here: [link] 1920x1200 Widescreen here: [link] I would like to ask all comments and favs to go to here rather than the widescreen sub thanks, and enjoy PS: the color names are just mini homages //In the ZIP: -9 PNG color version wallpaper (4:3 1600x1200px) -1 jpeg thumbnail preview -1 readme text file //UPDATE holy crap a DD thanks for =archanN (I owe you buddy) for suggesting it, and ^zilla774 for featuring it so happy, yes I am //update of the update 1920x1200px version of the widescreen now available. Daily DeviationGiven 2006-10-17tsunami roll by ~aphaits - A truly amazing 3D wallpaper pack. " I thought that it's impossible to made an "object" from a tsunami - and he managed somehow to do it! and made even a puzzle from it! I am admiring his daring to do this, and the result" (Suggested by ^archanN and Featured by $zilla774) |
