A gift for *Morriperkele. More-less 34 hours in 4 days.
Based on a sketch by *Morriperkele titled "Spoon" [link]

what started as a modeling exercise turned out to be a cool sketch-to-3d project
this is a gift for *Morriperkele because he'll be leaving for military duty for a few months.
I hope you still continue 'Gone with the Blastwave' after that, love that comic :D

Dude, that's SCARY. O_o It looks just alike. And what detail you put in! The spoon is dirty and has scratches, the leather of the guy looks so freaking real and the fingers, my god, THE FINGERS. Better than reality, wtf!!

haha :D scary good? or just scary?
I tried to stay true with the silhouette of the sketch.
the leather was a bit experimental, it still looks a bit too clean, just noticed...
the hands were the best modeling I did so far, but still anatomically poopoo XD need to practice more.

lastly, it's ironic how the best part of the scratch textures were from a photo of... a spoon :P
no kidding, I actually photographed an old spoon from my kitchen :lmao:

the textures are mostly post-edit in photoshop though. I wish I can do textures in this quality straight in 3D :D
