Testing out my new macro setup.

First time trying it out, turned out pretty decent.

Any tips for macro shooting?

This is waaaaay late, but I do like these alot. I tend to like macro shots that have depth of field to them...like the rope shot you have in the bottom left (it is some kind of rope right?), because you get clarity and some blur in the same shot. I think you got a little bit in the gears too. Your on the right track, takin' shots of things that make the viewer wonder...wtf is that?! But in a good way. :)

oh, and the setting is something like this.

ISO 100
f/22
1/60s to 1/250s
Auto WB
Auto ETTL flash
Manual focus, set to closest focus,
and just wobbled my camera back and forth a few millimeters until focus is reached.
It's quite a close setup though,
only about 4-5cm space between lens and object.

I just bought it for fun.
really nice for bringing things closer to the lens,
so yeah mostly for macro.
