Time limit: 1 hour

whooo, 60 mins in idea, modeling and rendering
I'm pooped :XD: (and legs cramping from a weird sitting position)
referenced from my laptop's keyboard I'm using right now
PS: sorry there's only those 3 letters,
didn't have enough time to texture the surrounding keys

3dmax and vray.
photoshop for framing and text,
(but no post-ps on the actual image, it's all straight render)

updated the comment.
I spot a looot of mistakes in the 3d after a second look :XD:
the keys should be flatter for a laptop,
the letters should be more centered,
and I need to learn how to model faster :P

oh, and I got 2nd place in the 2nd round for the challenge thingy :D

Hah, the idea is just great, you definitely deserved that second place! :) It's hard to do 3D stuff in just one hour. I don't think that the missing keys make it any worse either - the message is a bit less hidden, but more letters on the keys might have actually been more of a distraction.

haha 60mins with DOF is just impossible :XD:
by the time I finished modeling it's only like 10 mins left :P

Z-Depth pass and then kick it in to after-effects or combustion then add the DOF in post
